Find this year’s export support and plan the applications
Finding export support means checking this year’s official notices to see which Korean government and regional programs your company qualifies for, from export vouchers to certification, trade fair and insurance support, and putting the applications on one calendar. It is for small exporters who keep missing deadlines because the programs are spread across many agencies.
- 1. Fill in a short company profile: A short questionnaire covers company size, region, last year’s exports (direct, indirect and e-commerce), industry and products, support already received this year, and the costs you want funded (certification, trade fairs, translation, logistics and so on). Your export tier and region decide which programs and limits apply.
- 2. Collect this year’s notices: The AI searches official notices on Bizinfo (bizinfo.go.kr), the export voucher portal, KOTRA, KOSMES, K-SURE, KITA, aT for food products and your regional business agency. For each program it records what it pays for, the support share, eligibility, the application window, the notice link and the date checked.
- 3. Screen eligibility: Export tier, region, excluded industries, tax arrears and similar conditions sort each program into eligible, likely, not eligible or need to check. The rule that you can hold only one integrated export voucher at a time is applied here too.
- 4. Pair each cost with one program: The same cost, such as one trade fair booth fee, can be funded by only one program. Each planned cost is assigned to exactly one program so nothing is claimed twice, and your team decides where programs overlap.
- 5. Build a 12-month calendar: Application windows go on one calendar together with lead times for documents that take days to issue, such as the digital certificate and export record certificate. When this year’s notice is not out yet, last year’s timing is marked as an estimate, and trade fair support is lined up with the next fair dates in “Trade fair finder”.
- 6. Draft the application: The business plan is drafted to the chosen program’s notice and scoring table. Market evidence uses sourced numbers, such as the import size and reply rates in “Export market finder”, and your company reviews and submits it.
- 7. Use and settle the support correctly: A voucher is used within its period and above the share the notice requires (in 2026, using less than 70% of an SME ministry export voucher barred a company for 2 years). Deliverables and invoices are kept for settlement, and kickbacks or free extras from service providers are refused.
